Dan W. Tanner II
Owner/Professional Land Surveyor, PLS - 4787
Dan W. Tanner II (Daniel) is a licensed Land Surveyor and Owner of Survey Carolina PLLC based in Asheboro, North Carolina. Dan started surveying as a rodman in 2001 and earned his Professional Surveyors License, 2008. Daniel graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Business, 2003.
Dan serves as President of the Central Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors (NCSS) and sits on the Board of Directors of NCSS.
Dan has participated in humanitarian surveying projects providing hydroelectric surveying support at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in Papua New Guinea (2011), Mbingo Hospital in Cameroon (2012 and 2015), and Tenwek Hospital in Bomet, Kenya (2012). In October 2025, he joined Engineering Ministries International (EMI) traveling to Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya and May 2026 supporting Hope Language Institute in Papua, Indonesia.
Outside of work, Dan is a dedicated father to his two children, McKinley and Cullen. Whether exploring new destinations together or enjoying outdoor adventures closer home, he treasures every moment spent with his family.
Michael B. Martin
Professional Land Surveyor, PLS - 5681
Michael B. Martin (Brian) began his career as a Rodman in September 1997. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning, he steadily advanced through the profession, gaining extensive field and surveying experience along the way. In 2025, he successfully completed the required examinations to earn his Professional Land Surveyor license, marking a significant milestone in his career.
With nearly three decades of experience in the surveying industry, Brian is committed to providing accurate, dependable surveying services and takes pride in delivering quality work to every client.
Outside of work, he is a devoted father to his two daughters, Hannah and Landry. He enjoys spending quality time with them, working on projects together, and making lasting memories with his family.
